I wish to spread awareness of the importance of wildlife conservation, especially primates, throughout the Colorado College campus and even the city of Colorado Springs if possible. I was able to take two primatology classes this semester and I want to make sure everyone knows the importance of our closest relatives among other wildlife.
My project will run as an awareness campaign. I'm planning on creating a small fair one day on the Colorado College campus that is open to everyone that is part of the campus and everyone that lives in Colorado Springs. I want to create interesting booths that explore conservation, the diversity of wildlife, and how we can protect it. Hopefully, I will also be able to present a guest speaker that is very knowledgeable about primatology and conservation to generate support.
