The Problem
We will create a more green school, planting more trees and plants, creating awarness about waste and recycling, educate with love and respect and to create a better community and a better city.
Our Plan
We will be launching the first Roots and Shoots group in Medellin this friday 19th of february as part of the global celebration of the 25 years of R&S. The idea is to create an event in wish we will be planting seeds and plants around the school and also we will re-open the schools orchad for planting vegetables and herbs, as well as showing the global video in all the classrooms. This will be the beggining of a new thinking in the school, a hope for a better future for the students and our city. We aim to become a green school, an example for the city and hopefully we will pass this on to other schools to help to create a better Colombia !
