The Problem
Since the courtyard area is used by approximately 2,000 students at Cedar Park High School, it is a central region in the school and serves as a common access point for all students. If we implement a system where students pick up their own trash, we significantly preserve the ecosystem and its species, provide a cleaner area for students to gather and mingle, and, most importantly, develop a system of cleaning that is self-sufficient instead of labor-intensive.
