Our goal is to address these environmental justice concerns by advocating for policies that protect Fresno’s most vulnerable communities, increasing public awareness of environmental risks, and promoting equitable access to resources for clean air, water, and green spaces.
We will be hosting a series of workshops and community events focused on the importance and urgency of environmental justice. These workshops will explore the critical need for equitable access to clean air, water, and land, especially in underserved communities that are disproportionately affected by pollution and environmental hazards. Participants will gain an understanding of environmental justice principles, learn about current challenges, and discover ways to advocate for policies that promote healthier, more sustainable communities for all.
