Our wish for the project is to get the Mayor of Calabasas, David Shapiro, to go forward with his commitment to the Mayor\'s Monarch Pledge. We hope to get a proclamation at City Hall at the first council meeting when the school year begins in September.

The project was a great success. Mayor David Shapiro is now on the list of the Mayor's Monarch Pledge.
Through this project we learned how to interact with local government leaders to implement environmental public policy.
This was a one-time project.
Our favorite part of the project was being recognized at City Hall. It was a great celebration of all of our efforts.
