Here is how the project went:

The event was a success!!! We had between 75-100 people attending, all of them with different levels of disabilities who enjoyed crafting, listening to music, decorating cookies, playing table games, etc.

Through this project I/we learned:

We learned how blessed we are with our health, how something very easy for us to do is not as easy for everyone. We were reminded not to take things for granted. We saw how simple activities like this could mean so much to others.

What I/we might change:

Distribute volunteers with the ability to communicate with sign language in every station. We would like to learn basic sign language.

My/our favorite part of this project was:

Meeting the community and seeing them express their creativity.

Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:

Make sure you have prepared and organized all the supplies in every table before the event.
