Over the holidays, many veterans and their families struggle with challenging medical issues and are forced to turn to groups offering assistance and provisions donated by networks of individuals, families, and businesses passionate about doing what they can to help, in appreciation for these families’ service and sacrifice.
For our Care Cakes Campaign we are collaborating with one such area organization, the WAVE program for wounded and disabled veterans, to provide elaborate custom cakes baked by a couple of our members who happen to be award winning kid bakers. Along with sharing our care cakes, we will help contribute, assemble, load and distribute food, gifts and major necessities to extend a little help, a little hope and a lot of love to others in need.
