The Problem
Our wish is to help our community become more aware of the chimney swifts in our town, to protect places the swifts nest and roost, and to provide more nesting or roosting sites, if needed.
Our Plan
We are forming an after school club of second to fifth graders in which we will create artworks about swifts to display in public and create and perform a puppet show for elementary students about swifts. We will research how swifts are faring in our town, and may propose to build a swift tower if we find a suitable site.
