The Problem
We had an idea to try to make a Children\\\'s Center in a Rwandan hospital because there isn’t really any public library or public space for children to draw, color, read or play.
Our Plan
We started in Gisenyi near the DRC border. This video shows you how this special project was created. Maya (7), Samara (5), Catalaya (3) worked really hard preparing for the room then cleaning the room and organizing the books and toys. We met a very kind and talented artist named Rigobert Uwiduhaye (@itsrigob_art) who volunteered to bring the walls to life for the children! He co-founded a small library named AGATI in Musanze (@agati_library). They also helped us by donating books. It was amazing how it all came together. We can’t wait to make another one!
