The Problem
Our wish is to see the successful regrowth of the Diamondback terrapin by out local waterways and specifically the Wetlands of Cape May county.
Our Plan
We will raise awareness for the issues faced by the Diamondback terrapin population by raising a few in the classroom, hosting benefits and fundraisers to not only raise money but awareness. Under the supervision and care of the Wetlands Institute of Cape May, we will welcome a few hatchlings into or classroom and raise them through the winter season. With compassion, kindness, respect and care we will assure they are healthy and strong enough to be released back into the wild by springtime.
