The Problem
The wish for this project is to collect toiletry items to develop 200 bags to give to Be a Blessing Birmingham and Youth Towers. Both organizations provide supplies and resources to homeless children and adults. Items include soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and feminine hygiene products.
Our Plan
Youth who participate in the 2019 E.L.E.C.T. Teen Summit will also participate in this community service project by constructing 200 bags to give to Be a Blessing Birmingham and Youth Towers. Items that will be put inside the toiletry bags include soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and feminine hygiene products.
