The Problem
The Roots and Shoots Campaign chosen by our group is designed to help combat the number of unhealthy animals living in our community. Our plan is to use the money, if gifted the grant, to buy and assemble animal care kits that can be given out at our local cupboard and closet to families whose pets lack necessities such as flea shampoo and conditioner, treats, brushes, food and water bowls, etc. By having this kits free and easily accessible, we hope that community members in need will take as they so need. We hope to have posters around our school to showcase our kits, and use our social media accounts to garner more attention.
