The Problem
Educating others through art + appreciation for those working on the front lines of wildlife conservation.

Cards for Conservationists is a multi-faceted project where homeschool students will create artwork depicting native wildlife, which will then be printed on greeting cards. These cards will be used in a larger community-based project to thank wildlife workers for their efforts.
Our vision came to fruition, and we were able to pull it off within the provided timeline. There were some minor bumps along the way (as expected), but we're proud of the work we all produced, worked well together, enjoyed doing the work, and feel like we accomplished our goals. As one student stated at our last project meeting, "It was very fun, it allowed me to express my imagination, and I'm sad that it's ending".
We learned what successful campaigns that deliver conservation-based messages look like, ways that children can make a different within this space, and how to communicate, debate, and inspire others.
Some parts of our timeline for the project (we could have used more time in certain areas).
The final result, and having something tangible to share with others.
Working in the conservation space myself, it made it much easier to find recipients for this project than it would have been otherwise. P.S.- We have a few cards remaining! If you're working in the conservation space (or know of someone who is), you can still head to our website and sign up to receive a card in the mail.
