After mapping their community, our students realized that there is very little access to healthy food options in their community. To combat this, the students have decided to build a sustainable, organic garden on campus
After mapping their community, our students realized that there is very little access to healthy food options in their community. To combat this, the students have decided to build a sustainable, organic garden on campus
The students have selected a portion of the campus that they want to build their garden on as well as what they want to start growing. They have built the planter boxes out of wood and are now in the process of soil remediation as the soil on our campus is poor. They will then start planting and maintaining their garden until they are able to harvest!
