The Problem
To demonstrate the process of metamorphosis to our Toddler Program, by letting them see the whole process first hand. To do a unit on Earthworms with our Pre Kindergarten Children and help them understand how they fit in with nature.
Our Plan
Our program purchased caterpillars and the necessary equipment to allow them to spin their cocoons and transform into butterflies in a way our young children could observe and learn. Our Pre Kindergarten teacher purchased an Earthworm Farm so the children could observe how to they live.
