The Problem
Our group has noted the lack of signage on the river in our town that designates the city dam drop off. There have been several drowning incidents with loss of life from boats going over the city damn drop off into the spillway during high water times. The group wants to place appropriate signage on the bridge just north of the city dam and at the city dam location to notify boaters of the drop off in hopes to prevent any further accidents. This will keep community members safe while also encouraging use of the river and outdoor community events.
