there has been a huge loss in the world's bird population in the last 50 years, largely due to habitat loss. We want to install birdhouses in a local park to help restore the lost habitat and encourage native bird species to stay or return to the area.
We are going to construct birdhouses using donated wood from a local company and a laser cutter that are made specifically for the bird species in our area. We also are ensuring that our birdhouses are designed and installed in such a way that the birds will actually be willing to use them and prevent them from be in danger from predators. We will be installing the birdhouses in a local park when they are finished.
