The Problem
Marine ecosystems are being destroyed by pollution, overfishing, and climate change, leading to the loss of coral reefs that support countless marine species. This loss not only harms ocean biodiversity but also threatens food security for coastal communities that depend on healthy reefs for sustainable seafood. Many young people want to help but lack hands-on opportunities to make a real environmental impact.
Our Plan
We plan to build and deploy Build A Reef artificial reef modules made from eco-friendly materials that encourage marine life growth and restore damaged habitats. Our team will work with local students and volunteers to install reefs in coastal areas, monitor water quality, and collect real-time environmental data using sensors. Through hands-on workshops, we’ll educate communities about ocean conservation, sustainable seafood, and how protecting marine ecosystems helps fight hunger and climate change.
