The Problem

I recently joined this local coalition to keep pond waters clean on Cape Cod. They test and monitor the water for cyanobacteria and other pollutants in order to know if it is safe to swim in for humans.

Our Plan

I am interested in becoming more involved in water health and safety and understanding the reasons why these fresh water ponds become polluted and how we can prevent protect the ecosystems they support.
