BrainPower in BackPack is a weekend food pack program serving students Pre-K to 8th grade in District 191. Each Thursday, Burnsville High School student volunteers pack and distribute approximately 700 food packages students in Burnsville, Eagan and Savage, MN
BrainPower's goal is to help reduce hunger among the neediest of students in District 191. The program plans to purchase nonperishable food stuffs for food packages to be distributed to students district-wide. Our goal is to help students have a weekend food plan to ensure students come to school Monday morning ready to learn.
