The Problem

Ensure that Black Swallowtails have host plants for all stages of their development.

Our Plan

The goal with our native pollinator garden is to teach students how to be good stewards of the environment by adding more Golden Alexander plants for the swallowtails. This will provide students with a sense of accomplishment and responsibility as well as establish a native plant community, with host plants AND nectar plants that are necessary for black swallowtails. We plant to incorporate the Compassionate Traits Activities into our weekly club meetings.
