The Problem
We wish to increase knowledge about bats and provide shelter and food for birds and bats through our long cold harsh winter.
Our Plan
We will build bat houses in our school shop and distribute them to community members as well as putting in strategic places around campus. We will also make simple bird feeders out of tongue depressors and small logs. We will put these outside our classroom window and do a bird count for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
