The Problem
We’ll learn about why it's important to create space for wild birds and how to avoid polluting their habitat.
Our Plan
1. We hung nest boxes on our school campus. 2. We created "Bird Watch Stations" on campus so our community can record the birds seen and then we'll put that data into the Ebirds.org website. 3. We created a public service announcement about why we should not feed the ducks and geese. 4. We learned from an expert from Audubon Alaska. 5. We went on a bird walk with Alaska Public Lands Information Center. 6. We celebrated World Migratory Bird Day with our school community.
