To join the Grand Island community in planting a bioinfiltration garden at the Grand Island library.
Our Plan
Roots & Shoots team members will help volunteer to help plant the bioinfiltration Garden at the Grand Island library. The garden collects water off the library parking lot, and filters it through the garden instead of letting the water go down the storm drain. Garden Contractor, Jeremy Vlcek, who owns Vlcek Gardens, will provide demonstrations to the community on how to effectively plant and care for the garden.
