The Problem
Heart to Care Tanzania is a non-profit organization that provides support for the Bethany Pre and Primary School located in Kisongo, a small village outside of Arusha, Tanzania. After a year of fund-raising and construction, the first school building and washrooms were completed, and the doors opened on January 08, 2018, to admit the first 40 students. Heart to Care Tanzania is in the midst of building the second school building to accommodate grades Pre K-7, and the school will soon receive its registration number with the Tanzanian Ministry of Education. We provide nourishing porridge to each child in the morning, which is often their first meal of the day. We will be providing them lunch in the next few months.
