Here is how the project went:
Event went very well! We made sun prints with a local artist and then beach combed at sunset with all the kids and families.
Through this project I/we learned:
For it being the very first event, we learned that there are a lot of locals interested in this kind of group and outdoor, art activities.
What I/we might change:
We would have done the event sooner in the day so that there was more time for sun prints.
My/our favorite part of this project was:
Meeting new members of the community and creating an event that was free, rewarding and well received by our local community.
Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:
Create a Facebook group or event to get the word out. Share pictures and videos after in order to show it's success and build interest for the next event.
