Our wish is to provide safe habitats for little brown bats and to educate the public on how bats are beneficial to our community.
Our Plan
Bat Houses - Research bats and the benefits they have to our community, research bat habitats, suitable locations, construction materials. Present information to the Town Parks and Rec department and request permission to have bat houses placed in parks. Construct bat houses materials and install. Research began Sept 2015 Presentation to Parks and Rec took place on Jan 28, 2016 Bat House Construction tool place in March 2016 Nine finished bat houses were presented to the Town of Berthoud on April 28th, 2016 Installation by the Berthoud Parks and Recreation Department will take place in May 2016
