OUR WISH FOR THIS PROJECT IS TO RAISE AWARENESS IN OUR COMMUNITY TO HELPING PEOPLE AND THEIR PETS MEET THEIR MOST BASIC NEEDS. WE WISH TO OPEN THE CONVERSATION UP TO PLACES THAT OFFER HELP IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, THE GOOD THAT THEY DO, THE WISH LIST NEEDS THEY HAVE, AND WAYS EVEN THE VERY YOUNG CAN HELP THE COMMUNITY HELP EACH OTHER.
Our Girl Scout Troop began with this school year Sept. 2016 with the knowledge that alone we can do great things but together we can do so much more. That in a community we are more than individual groups but rather one large force. We began with discovering our basic needs, and we found people in our community who could not meet those very basic needs. How could that be? So we come up with a plan on what we can do to help them and how to get that help to them at the most crucial times. We raised awareness to those in need in our own backyard. As leaders and parents we are immensely proud of their grass roots efforts.
