The Problem
Calabasas Roots & Shoots and The City of Calabasas are targeting the lack of plastic recycling in Calabasas and consequently, plastic pollution.
Our Plan
We have implemented types 2 and 4 plastic recycling bins at our local high school, our school district\'s office, our City Hall, our local Senior Center, a local Hardware Store, and a local Dry Cleaning Store. We aim to recycle 1000 pounds of plastic and will send it to a company to be constructed into a bench that we will place on the campus of Calabasas High School.
