The Problem

We would like to welcome incoming AVID (college bound) 6th graders and returning 7th and 8th graders with a Signing and Sweets night. Here both parent and students will sign contracts, committing to year long requirements. We need funds for cupcakes and some school supplies all AVID students will need such as binders, highlighters, and erasers.

Our Plan

This project will make our community stronger and more united. We will have this memorable event one evening after school so that parents and students may attend. I would like to see this become an annual event, one where students feel honored and privileged to attend.
