The Problem
Our goal is to attract pollinators using native plants.
Our Plan
We are planting some native plants of Hunterdon County in front of our school, Robert Hunter Elementary School. Students have already researched about the importance of native plants and their impact on local habitats. Then students participated in a "Bio Blitz" of the area and took notes of what was already there and what was needed. We hope that the pollinators will provide nectar, pollen and seeds to attract native butterflies, insects, birds and animals.
