The Problem

We have decided to address the issue of captive elephants in America. For over 220 years, elephants have been captured and used in zoos and circuses for people's entertainment in North America.

Our Plan

We are holding a Silent Auction event to raise money and awareness for elephants. At the event we will have live music, food, an elephant art contest, and a presentation to educate people about elephants and their plight in the USA. We have partnered with The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, whose mission is to provide a safe haven and individualized care for retired captive elephants so they can live out their lives in peace. The auction will consist of donations from local artisans and businesses.
