The students at Brooksfield School have an organic garden with a variety of plants, herbs, and vegetables. We would like to share our crop and love of gardening with a group of elderly veterans who live in a retirement community up the street from our school.
Kindergarteners, parents, and volunteers will use dried lavender from our garden to make aromatherapy sachets. The sachets will then be delivered to elderly veterans and their spouses who resign at Vinson Hall Retirement Community, located just up the street from the Brooksfield School.
