County Animal Services is often under funded and in need of supplies. Our donation drive will help provide much needed supplies so that the office can continue to offer shelter for animals and low cost vaccinations for those compassionate humans that decide to adopt an animal in need of a furever home.
For our very first Roots & Shoots project: At the weekly, all day meetings of our homeschool co-op we will host a bake sale where we bring homemade goods to raise funds to purchase items from the County Animal Services item donation wish list. We will also share that wish list with our co-op community members so that they can donate items. We plan to continue this project through our current semester and donate our entire load at the end.
