The Problem

This coming year my Girl Scout troop will be focusing on community service and being agents of change. Last year we were involved in environmental concerns and since we are all all animal lovers we would like to focus more on helping animals and their environment and well being. We plan to work together to collaborate on the needs in our community ...collect food blankets toys and spend time with them if possible. Last year through roots and shoots...I organized my classroom to create get well cards that were given to the Children’s Hospital to patients who were in the hospital during the holidays. We received a thank you letter which made us feel good about our efforts.

Our Plan

We will document the items we collected and time spent to enhance their quality of life. The mini grant with support our efforts in being agents of change and give us the encouragement that collectively we can make a difference in our community.
