2015 Special Olympics

The Problem

In partnership with the Los Angeles Monterey Park Optimist Club, and the City of Monterey Park, we hope to welcome the German delegation of the Special Olympics by folding over 1,000 origami cranes. A special welcome luncheon and show will be held and the origami cranes, a symbol of hope and peace, will be used to decorate the venue.

Our Plan

Members will fold origami cranes of various colors and string them along to make garlands for decoration.
