The Problem
Being energy efficient.
Being energy efficient.
Teaching our community of the positive effects that Upcycle and responsible consumption can have on on our air quality and zero waste campaign.
The project went well overall. There were some learning by trail and error as it was our first group setting everything up.
We learned that it is important to get a large number of the community to buy into the idea in order to encourage the trickle down effect.
We will definitely do this project again. I would change how often we clean up and focus a little bit more on spreading the word through signs and presentations.
My favorite part of this project was getting feedback from students about changes they made at home to divert waste and minimize it.
Do as many hands on activities as possible.
