Protect The Earth+ 5 years agoHelp the planet ideas: draw a picture of the earth and animals on it. Write a small message for helping the planet. Spread the word and maybe even tape the drawing to a pole or door in your neighborhood!

I am interested in conservation. Creating awareness and sensitizing communities in endangered species as well as plant conservation. More to that I have been involve in some plastic pollution awareness campaign as well as beach clean up.

The Little Things 5 years agoProject Update: We recently trapped the community cats living on our street. They were spayed/neutered, given vet treatment and then released back where we found them! I’m happy to announce that three kittens were fostered to be given a chance to socialize and become accustomed to indoor-only life. They have since been adopted!

Protect The Earth+ 5 years agoHelp the planet ideas: at school or with your friends, start a committee group or association group that focuses on protecting the planet. You can even make it even MORE specific, like protecting animals, the ocean, people, climate change, etc.

Protect The Earth+ 5 years agoHelp the planet ideas: When buying a book, buy it on Kindle or a device instead of a paper-book. Buying paper books wastes a lot of paper, and paper is made of trees too.

Happy Earth Day Grace!! Did you celebrate in a special way? We had a recycled material planting project! We cut soda bottles in half and made self-watering planters for kitchen scraps like lettuce cores. It was fun and resourceful!

According to WWF (World Wildlife Fund) “What do you do with the money that I give to WWF? We are proud to say that 78% of our spend goes on our charitable activities. The other 22% of our spend is for fundraising. For every pound we spend on this, £4 income is generated.”
