I am a RN at a Title 1 school in Berkeley County, SC. A lot of our students are pre-occupied and have a difficult time focusing. Our students get their meals at 100% free cost. My goal is to teach our students how to start, maintain and harvest their own garden, starting with the school garden. I would love to bring a gardening program to our middle school to engage our students in SEL to increase health and nutrition awareness.
