Yes, I have a dog and 3 herrmit crabs.
-
I love hermit crabs! Here’s a cool piece of information. Did you know hermit crabs may only appear to be dead, but actually just may be molting? I once almost buried my hermit crab because I thought he had died. Turns out he just shed his exoskeleton and was resting way back in his shell! I felt so bad! The Little Things 5 years, 8 months agoI’ve got some ideas for little things you and your family can do to help the environment!
-Use cloth or any other type of re-usable napkin instead of disposable ones
-Use non-plastic toothbrushes. Can you imagine that every plastic toothbrush you ever used is still around today and will be for hundreds of years?…[Read more]-
These are some great actions Anna! Thank you for sharing!
We do use cloth napkins. We call them ‘un-paper towels’!
And because we live in sunny South Florida, we use our clothes line to dry clothes as much as possible!
We even made the big decision to use cloth diapers when our baby was born so disposable diapers wouldn’t wind up in a landfill!

Hi Freya! What made you decide to join Roots and Shoots? What’s a Little Thing you enjoy doing to make a difference?

A Little Thing I like to do is save water. Whether it is running water for brushing teeth or any other way of wasting water the water of our world is mostly saltwater. We should try to do the Little Things that help push our tiny world forward.
