Biography |
In my fourth year on the RSYC, I am continuing to bring my passion for conservation to the forefront. I founded two Roots and Shoots groups in Tucson, AZ, where I fostered a spirit of environmental stewardship and community engagement. After moving to Cape Cod, MA, I shifted my focus to the testing of cyanobacteria in water and the preservation of native vegetation. On a recent trip to PR, I noticed some areas that could benefit from improvement, and I believe I can make a positive impact, especially as they relate to the R&S three pillars. I am currently enrolled in Biomedical Engineering and am passionate about applying my studies to make a positive change in the world after college.
