Abhinav Patel is a student from Lucknow, India, with a deep interest in ethical leadership, history, and community responsibility. He believes that meaningful change begins with disciplined action and thoughtful dialogue among young people.
As a member of the global Roots & Shoots movement under the Jane Goodall Institute, Abhinav is committed to promoting environmental awareness, compassion toward animals, and service to society. He values structured leadership, moral responsibility, and the role of youth in preserving both nature and cultural heritage.
In his school community, he actively encourages reading, reflective discussion, and youth engagement initiatives that cultivate character and responsibility. His aim is to connect traditional values with modern environmental action, demonstrating that stewardship of the Earth is both a duty and a privilege.
And Youth Environmental Action Network is a youth-driven organization founded by Abhinav Patel with a vision to inspire environmental responsibility, sustainability, and youth participation in climate action. The organization actively works through awareness campaigns, educational initiatives, community engagement, and advocacy programs to encourage positive environmental change. Alongside him, Naitik Raj serves as the Executive Director, bringing strong young leadership and dedication toward empowering youth to create a greener, more sustainable future.
Through Roots & Shoots, Abhinav seeks to build practical projects that benefit people, animals, and the environment, while fostering disciplined and principled leadership among students.
