Children in the city of Los Angeles are disconnected from Nature, are uninspired to take action for future generations, and feel disempowered to take matters into their own hands. After the devastation of the fires, we aim to give them hope.
Engaging all levels of society to create a program that empowers children to participate in the rebuilding and replanting of Los Angeles, therefore reconnecting with Nature, drawing inspiration from the work done by earlier generations, and empowering children to be agents in their own destinies. The project will culminate in a tree-planting campaign where the most ideal species of trees will be researched, procured, and planted in the most appropriate ways and places.
