The Problem
Post-COVID social and educational accessibility factors continue to affect youth and young adults on the national level. For most individuals impacted by increasing illness rates, isolation from social and environmental advocacy is exacerbated as they seek inpatient clinical treatment. Through the South Maui Roots and Shoots, we strive to create a digital space where all voices, ages, demographics, and identities can continue expanding their passion for wildlife justice.
Our Plan
• Donate custom trivia cards and animal-based art for patient and medical staff use at various hospitals and clinics throughout the globe • Invest one-on-one time with community members ensuring that the design process aligned with their needs • Utilize sustainable creativity materials to enrich artistry and artistry within clinical correspondence • Emphasize validation and inclusion for each member rather than illustrating generic concepts • Represent the potential for empathy and diversity across all medical and ecological fields
