The Problem

My goal was to explore the planning and implementation of climate education for underserved youth, its significance to environmental health, and the goals of leaders as mentors to underprivileged youth. In collaboration with Ocean Connectors, a fiscal sponsorship project of The Ocean Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in San Diego, CA, I was able to interview environmental educators on the importance of spreading awareness about climate change, specifically to our youth in San Diego County.

Our Plan

I interviewed environmental leaders at Ocean Connectors and compiled an analysis about how climate education can be effective and accessible.
