The Problem
The picnic benches at the park are in dire condition and broken beyond repair. Families do not have a place to sit, visit, or picnic while their children play at the park.
Our Plan
I would like to replace all the boards with new boards and hardware and paint them to create a safe, comfortable place for families to picnic and enjoy quality time watching their children play.

Here is how the project went:
This project went very well. It looks so incredible being fixed up.
Through this project I/we learned:
I learned that I could use skills that I already have to help out my community.
What I/we might change:
I would change how I ordered the lumber. I felt I rushed and forgot some supplies and had to make multiple trips to the lumber yard.
My/our favorite part of this project was:
Seeing it completed and sharing a meal with friends and family.

It is located in Gaylord. I enjoy woodworking and was able to use my knowledge to help out my community.
