The Problem

Kids in recent years don't spend as much time outside. This is caused by numerous factors. One factor is there aren't as many opportunities for unstructured outdoor play.

Our Plan

My project idea is to make a mud kitchen. A mud kitchen is usually a kid sized table with hooks to hang toy pots and pans on, some mud kitchens have fake sinks and stoves. Like it hints in the name, kids use mud and things they find in nature to make fake meals. They can make anything from soup to steak. Whatever they can think of they can cook. This kind of play can keep kids entertained for hours!
