The Problem
Although Fremont Union High School District is green-forward, the district has not complied with State Bill 1383 which mandates organizations, including schools to compost organic waste. Moreover, several schools within the district lack any climate curriculum teaching contrary to AB 285 --- this resolution would work to implement AP Environmental Science within all 5 FUHSD Schools, create a composting system, and increase climate awareness within students.
