Joshua combats economic disparities through impactful community service and advocacy.
Joshua’s primary project is addressing diaper poverty, including a successful lobbying effort to eliminate the diaper tax in Maryland which saves families $12 million annually.
He also leads pop-up pantry initiatives at North Glen Church, providing essential items to underserved families like diapers and formula.
A high school student, Joshua enjoys tennis, sketching, and coaching. He plans to expand his initiatives by applying for grants to sustain and grow his service projects.
Joshua’s advice for changemakers: “Keep working at your goal. Kids can make change no matter the boundaries.”
