Palm Oil Problems 5 years, 7 months agoI’m part of a club that I started with some of my friends at my school, and we’ve put up posters at our local library, post office, market, and places like that, (with their permission) about climate change and how people can help. Palm Oil problems could do that too maybe, only they would be about palm oil problems!! Just an idea!

Write about the reason that palm oil is bad in at least a couple of paragraphs. You can do research and write about it very detailed or
just write a little bit about the problem. You can show/send this to others or just keep it for yourself!

That is a really good idea! So just to make sure I’m completely understanding do you mean writing it for our own sake, just like to research and then write it down, or did you mean to show or send to someone else to inform them about the problem? Thank you so much!! If anyone has anymore suggestions I can use them for other challenges

The Little Things 5 years, 7 months agoWe had 26 people take part in our Virtual Story Time celebrating World Chimpanzee Day! It was so wonderful seeing everyone smiling and laughing during these times of difficulty due to COVID-19. I am so thankful to have been a part of it. It was a great celebration indeed!

Do some research and find 2 foods that have palm oil, then stop eating them for at least 2 weeks! (Or if you can, stop eating them for longer, maybe even stop eating them for good!)

Hello! I try not to buy things with palm oil and I try to keep my community clean when I can! Also I try to plant trees in my yard because of all the deforestation in my community and I care about having trees here!!

Write to (mailing or emailing) a company that uses palm oil in their products. Explain to them why palm oil is bad and ask them to stop using it! I wrote to Winco and got them to stop putting palm oil in their muffins!
